Scaling your digital product business means building distinct brand experiences for each product line. But do you really need to maintain multiple WordPress sites, with all the extra cost and complexity?
Not at all.
Smart digital entrepreneurs are using a multiple domains single WordPress setup to manage everything from one dashboard.
Why Sellers Need Multiple Domains
If you sell different digital products, this problem probably sounds familiar. You want brandedtemplates.com for designs and yournamecourses.com for courses. This makes perfect sense for branding.
But then reality hits you hard:
- You pay for multiple hosting accounts
- You buy the same $89 theme over and over
- You need separate licenses for every premium plugin
- You must update security on each site
- You spend hours setting up new features across all sites
Worst of all? The time you spend fixing technical issues is time you’re not creating new products.
How to Enable Multiple Domains on a Single WordPress Installation
The easiest way to manage all your domains from one simple dashboard is to use WP Landing Kit.
With WP Landing Kit, one WordPress site powers multiple domains. You can run your design site, course site, and more – all from the same place.

- Connect domains to your products

How does search functionality work. Does it break in micro-sites?
Search doesn’t exactly “break” with domain mapping, but it also doesn’t automatically respect domain boundaries. Since WP Landing Kit maps multiple domains to a single WordPress installation, the default search will return results from your entire content database, regardless of which domain the visitor is searching from.

Every once in a while I get asked to create a landing page. Would this make sense to create landing pages on my WordPress instance for other clients? Seems a bit strange to do that. Just trying to grok this.
Creating landing pages for different clients on your own site isn’t ideal, even if it seems easier. Each client’s landing page should be on their own domain or site for branding, tracking, and security. Hosting multiple clients on your site can get messy, especially if they want custom features or need to move their page later.
It’s better to build landing pages on the client’s site or set up a separate WP install for each project. This keeps things organized and easier to manage. For a beginner’s guide and best plugins, see:

If you need something quick for tests or demos, you can use your site – but for anything professional or long-term, always build on the client’s own site.
